My rose-haired tarantula's weird psycho eating deal?

So my tarantula, Martini, molted a while ago and i thought it would be good for her to finally eat so i put one cricket in her cage. a while later i came back to see that she had it in her fangs so i got all happy and went out to get more. I came back and put 3 in her cage but then realized that the one i thought she ate was in the corner dead. After a bit of time with the crickets (not long) she started pouncing them and just totally mutilated them with her fangs and just dropping them, which is sorta normal i guess, but then she started to spin a web on the ground as she was crushing them and would wind them up in it and her end product was pretty much a grave site for the crickets, all wrapped up in thread and buried, even the first one that she killed before the other 3. is this normal or something??
