What to take when running away?

Instead of a place, why don't you take bus? Assuming that you are only going afew hours away from where you live. Bring money obviously, all ID and cards, print off a few resumes too, take food, hygiene products, clothes e.t.c Make sure you take a phone with you too and anything that allows you access to the internet. Maybe get help from a friend or even a family member and get them to arrange you a trip down. I would suggest telling an authority about the behaviour of your family. They can really help and you do not deserve to be treated this way.
